When booking the room, I didn't notice that I booked a room on the first floor. I was expecting to see the view of the ancient town from the room. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong room on the first floor. Although there is a terrace, it is right on the busy street. There is no privacy, and even the windows of the room have to be closed. It would be better to choose the second floor. However, if you are a smoker, it is very suitable to smoke there, have a drink, chat with friends, and spend a pleasant time in the ancient town.

The room is incredibly beautiful, the view is perfect onto the river and old town. Although communication was very limited due to language barrier the host still made sure we had his phone number in case and was very friendly and helped with the luggage, too. in front of the house they have chairs you can take to enjoy sitting at the riverside.
The only downside is that the toilet and shower don’t offer much privacy - milky glass dooor and open to the top.
still we strongly recommend this place!

Had a wonderful stay here. The great wall is only a 5-minute walk, and the section of the wall here is very quiet (although very steep). Daniel and the rest of the staff were fantastic.

It is very close to the main entrance, the boss is also enthusiastic, and the most important thing is that the room is spacious, comfortable and clean, which makes the accommodation experience sublime.
